SCAI is compiling a comprehensive LIST of all artists in Washington County: musicians, actors, dancers, visual artists, writers, and multi-media artists. If you'd like to be included, send us your contact information and we'll be in touch. Listing will be free as a public service to fellow artists. If you don't already have a web presence, and would like to create something simple and affordable, we also can help with that through our site, or recommend a great colleague!

STARRY NIGHTS on Fish Point!  Amateur astronomers take note.  Thanks to the donation of an excellent Celestron telescope, we can invite others to join us inside the "bowl of stars" that surrounds us on clear summer nights.  We're lucky to have almost no light pollution.   BYOT or use ours!   Best in late summer/fall.   Ask about dates, or RSVP.

PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP INTENSIVES with award-winning photographer/photojournalist Johanna S. Billings.  Either come "from Away" and stay in residence at SCAI's Center, or participate as a day student if you're local.   These workshops will have their maiden voyage in Spring-Summer 2018, dates TBA, with plans to expand the program in future years.  Check our Calendar of Events for updates, or join our Mailing List.

A READER'S THEATER GROUP, reading classic and contemporary plays, and eventually also serving as a development vehicle for new plays in progress.  Planned to start in winter 2017-18, as an antidote to cabin fever.

TEACHING RESIDENCIES by SCAI staff, and visiting artists and directors in music, theater, writing, visual arts, to share their knowledge and experience: these will be an ongoing feature.  Watch for details or join our mailing list!

CONCERTS throughout the year, at our Center and larger public area venues.

Middle/High School SHOW CHOIR.  We are NOW (early 2018) in the proces of reviving an ongoing DRAMA PROGRAM with a Drama Club in-school, and a musical production performed in May 2018.
